Our Samples
After Care
Our solid wood table Tops bases and kitchen accessories are made of Ash, oak, walnut, Zebrano wenge or Sapele that has been treated with natural Linseed Oil or Osmo Polyx Oil. This Is a hard wax/oil that provides a good level of protection from everyday spills and stains. Particular care should be taken in the first 4 weeks after delivery whilst the wax fully hardens - you will need to use coasters and place mats to protect the wood during this time. Once the wax oil has hardened, coasters and place mats aren’t necessary.
However, very hot dishes and sauce pans should always be put on a mat. To clean the surfaces on a daily basis use a damp cloth and then wipe dry with a clean cloth. Wipe off anything that will stain right away, eg red wine, balsamic vinegar, oil, tea, coffee, alcohol, etc,
There will naturally be variations in the colour and grain of the timbers, however this will add uniqueness to each piece.
